Closing Session

I think it's safe to say that CADA 2014 couldn't have gotten off to a greater start. The student leaders from all over California were full of energy and smiles as they met new people and enjoyed listening to great speakers. Whether it was melting barriers with ice breakers or learning new dance moves to impress your hometown friends, everybody walked away from yesterday's activities with something new to share with their school. I caught up with a couple students from the camp to recieve further insight on how they enjoyed their first day at CADA and what they learned.
What did you learn most today?
You should always step out of comfort zone so you can lead truly with your full potential.
-Andrew Regalado
What did you learn most from hearing Mike Smith speak?
If you want to change something, you can, just go out and take full initiative.
-Katie Melnick
What was your favorite dance move Happiness is Now taught you?
I had the most fun doing the Superman side to side move, but I liked the Beyonce one too.
-David Morales
