Service Project in Honor of Katie Cooper

Katie Cooper was an involved student on her high school campus and that didn't change when she started her education at University of California, Santa Barbara. She was involved on campus in sports and student activities. Sadly, she was one of the innocent victims during the massacre that occurred and was killed. At this CADA Camp, our service project will be in honor of Katie. When asked, Katie's mom, a local ASB Secretary at Don Lugo and a CADA member, said that it would be amazing if books were donated to local organizations in Katie's name. Each council will be receiving a book and a label that they can decorate to place inside the book. In order for this to happen, we ask that each council raises a donation of $10-$12. Keep Katie's spirit alive and take part in this service project!
