Katie was involved in her High School as well as at UCSB. Sadly, she was one of the innocent victims who lost her life here in the massacre that killed 6 students. Katie's mom, Kelli, is an ASB secretary and a member of CADA. The family is asking for people to donate books to local charities in her honor. CADA Camp II Community Service project will donate the books to Cottage Children's Hospital in Santa Barbara. Please donate monies in your councils. Council 17 will be collecting the monies and book tags
during Sixth Council tomorrow. Katie's family thanks you from the bottom of their hearts. You are awesome student leaders.
